This was the final project for my Observational Drawing class. I created a collage from magazine and newspaper scraps, and then reproduced it as a large-scale mixed media drawing. I was drawn to whimsical, slightly surrealist imagery and bright complimentary colors when creating my collage, and tried to preserve that whimsy in the final piece.

This piece appeared in the 2024 edition of Xylem Literary Magazine.
